7 June 2012

Met up with Joy for Strictly Pancakes
It was pretty packed even during non-peak hours. (Thursday around 4pm)

Iced mocha ($5) & Iced cafe latte ($4.50)
Mine was latte. Not recommended. No wonder most of the patrons didn't order drinks.
 My 'Bananas-scotched'! ($11)
Yummy, recommended for banana lovers!
Mine was with rum, so the caramel sauce was not too sweet.

Joy's 'Lemon curd for the nerds'! ($10)
The lemon cream sauce somehow cover the taste of the chocolate pancake. But it was not bad!

Our bill came to about $37 for 2 pax.
Overall, service was good and food was not bad thou slightly pricey.
Suitable for smaller group of friends <5. Good place for brunch/lunch imo.
-------

Been quite some time since both of us meet up, so we had a long chat over the table. :)
After that we headed over to Cityhall to meet up with Eve for dinner @ MOF.

 Jae-ye
Bought gongcha & waited for Eric to end work!

8 June 2012

Met up with mx for town shopping! :)
Had Kim Dae Mun Korean Cuisine for lunch! It is located at Concorde Hotel food court.
I was searching for 'cheap & nice korean food in town' the day before, and it led me to this stall!

 Mx's beef bulgogi ($8)
Yummy and well-marinated with generous portion of beef!

For the side dish, you can choose either kimchi, anchovies, or cucumber slice.

 My bibimbap ($6.50)
Not bad but does not taste like what I've eaten in Korea. Korea's bibimbap is so yummy!

Overall, food was nice & affordable! If you're looking for cheap korean food in town, this is it! :)
Concorde hotel is between Plaza Sing & Centrepoint.

Then we shopped around at town!
Had dinner, then went to IT fair to find Eric again!

9 June 2012

Went to Bugis with b! :)
Main objective is to go to the Temple to 拜拜!
Then, we explored the newly renovated Iluma! The Uniqlo was huge, but we didn't went in as the queue to enter was very very long! @_@ Shopped ard, and I managed to buy basics at Aeropostale!

'Twelve cupcakes' is now opened at Bugis! Bought salted caramel & chocolate flavoured home to try!
Not bad, but quite over-rated actually!

-----------------

As you can see, I'm enjoying my very carefree lifestyle now!
The whole of my next week is already planned ^-^ woohoo~
But at the same time, $$$ is flying away~
